"Custom Exteriors provided the best service and product Installation ever. Could not be happier with the outcome. The Anlin Del Mar windows were a great choice and Custom Exteriors was the perfect choice for the job. I recommend these guys for any window job needed."

"We faced a challenge with respect to the need to re-side our 3,600 sq. ft. multi-storey wood framed home, not the least of which is that it has some unusual architectural features and is situated on a steep hill. After interviewing a number of contractors, we ultimately selected Custom Exteriors, in part because of its reputation but in larger part because of the patient and helpful guidance we received from Paul Kaplan, the assigned sales representative, who was responsive to all of our concerns, and ultimately suggested stucco siding, as opposed to composite board, which turned out to be the best solution from a cost and design standpoint. We contracted with a reliable scaffold service suggested by Custom Exteriors which worked seamlessly with them, to ensure we’d have access for separate work that would need to be handled by other contractors. The re-siding project took several months and inherently created disruption given the extensive nature of the work; however, as to the work itself, the demolition and stucco crew could hardly have been better: they clearly knew their business from a technical standpoint, provided efficient quality work, and were respectful of the property, of us, and of our neighbors. The job foreman (Francisco), who was on site almost all work days, was courteous, communicated well, and consulted with us about issues which periodically arose to determine appropriate solutions. He and other members of his crew also cooperated well with other contractors occasionally on site to deal with structural repairs beyond those handled by Customs Exteriors. In addition to helpful early assistance with the permit process, a co-owner of the company (Jeff Kendall) made periodic visits to evaluate the progress, to promptly resolve a few issues which arose, and to ensure our satisfaction with the work and, throughout the process, he was attentive and helpful. We’re delighted with the outcome of the project, and pleased we were able to have Custom Exteriors handle the work."

"We needed to replace just a patio door. Out of four businesses that I have contacted only Custom Exteriors responded. After that it was pretty much smooth sailing from initial visit, through measurement, and to installation. All communications were clear and responses were prompt, all appointments were right on time. Installation crew was very professional. They properly protected floor in our living room, were careful not to damage anything, did great job installing new door, and cleaned up after the job was done (in fact my patio is now cleaner than before install). Would definitely do repeat business."

"We did a lot of work through Custom Exteriors back in 2012, around 16 windows, 2 Patio doors and small Stucco work. The order was delivered on time and installation was fast and smooth. Everything is in perfect order almost 7 years later. We needed service twice in the last few years for some small issues and the folks there were prompt. Few months back, we ordered 2 Windows for new construction at our home and there was a little bit of an issue with the order. There was a few days delay and the glass and lock type was incorrect. However, the company went to great lengths to fix the problem, quickly. Ryan Burke from the service/installation dept helped us during the installation done by our contractor and also helped fix the glass and lock type issue. His prompt response, great knowledge/skills and wonderful customer service has motivated me to write this review and also give a 5 star rating."

"Jeff Kendel, the owner, and his company continue to be amazing even after 17-18 years of window projects. Custom Exteriors has done at least 6-7 projects for me including installing a bay window, making small windows much bigger, and putting in windows where there were none before. The installers are also great! What I really like about this company is that after 17-18 years if something minor would go wrong, Jeff would make sure everything was fixed and taken care of immediately. His customer service is the best I’ve ever encountered!!! One does not see this type of customer service in this day and age!!!"

"Custom Exteriors and the Anlin Windows are FANTASTIC !! Reasonably priced, professionally installed, fabulous Warranties, I have used them on my personal Lafayette residence, as well as apartment buildings, 4 plexes and other Single Family homes I own/manage. We liked and chose Custom Exteriors because both owners are very hands-on and live locally. I first contacted Custom Exteriors about 12 years ago to replace old drafty aluminum frame single pane windows in a rental property I own in Walnut Creek. Jeff Kendall, came out personally, took all the measurements and gave me a very reasonable estimate for Anlin vinyl replacement windows. The product is awesome, the tenants couldn’t believe how much more comfortable the house became and the sound dampening effect was very noticeable. The installation teams are super clean, professional , quick and efficient. Their showroom in Pleasanton, was helpful for us to see all their products. The new PACE Program was an interesting payment option to consider that I was unaware of. I understand they do Hardie Siding, Stucco and even carry Marvin wood windows.
