From 1987-1997 two close friends worked for some of the Bay Area's largest
home improvement companies. What they noticed over the years with
these companies were stressful work environments, constant employee
turnover, nonexistent referral business, and mediocre customer satisfaction.
In short, both friends realized there was no hope for the future that
they had envisioned when entering into the industry all those years
ago.
In 1997 Custom Exteriors was started and today, Jeff Kendall
and Kevin Gundry, with all their experience in the industry combined with
their vision of what a great company should be, are leading one of the largest
and fastest growing window replacement companies in the Bay Area. With nonexistent
turnover, a great working environment, thousands of referral customers,
and extremely high customer satisfaction, Custom Exteriors has truly become
an industry leader that continually attracts the best and brightest people
in the window replacement arena.
Jeff Kendall was born and raised in Berkeley and, graduated from Cal
(Go Bears!) in 1981. Kevin Gundry growing up in Concord also has deep Bay
Area roots, and graduated from Chico State in 1987. Their business, advertising,
marketing, and sales backgrounds have all contributed greatly to the development
of a very unique company that Bay Area homeowners are flocking to for their
professional window and door replacement projects.
